Our first one!

Well, we're online.

Zach is sleeping, Scott's just home from class and having some chicken soup to nurse his cold (the whole family has it now), and I'm excited to start our blog.

Zach and I will be the chief contributors, as Scott couldn't be paid to spend more time on the computer. Most of the content will likely feature the annecdotes of our newest family member, to satisfy the family members who don't live here, but occasionally we'll post other news. Feel free to send us requests through the comments section! Be our muse.

For now, I'll sign off and leave you with Zach's latest progress:
- He's suffering from his first cold...such a sad state. He has become very needy; we have to cuddle him to sleep when he wakes in the middle of the night, not that we don't enjoy cuddling him, but it makes for a short night's sleep.
- He's sitting pretty well, though he's still prone to fall over, so we try to set him up at least a torso's length away from any hard toys or objects.
- He has begun to prop himself up on his hands and knees. Oh, the days of leaving him in a room alone for a minute or two are waning; Babies R Us child safety aisle, here I come...
